The battle is over, but tension is still high between Quill and Artimé. Artimians are having trouble forgiving their death sentence, and the Quillians can't come to terms with the loss of their government. Meanwhile, Aaron is fuming at the destruction of his perfect world, and wants vengeance. In addition, strange teens appear with orange eyes and no voices, and Alex's friends want to figure out where they came from. As feuds erupt, mysterious things occur, forcing Alex to leave Artimé in search of answers. But what will happen in his absence?
I loved this book, but I disliked the recklessness of the characters. They acted a bit too stupid to be realistic. But this book was very enjoyable, and I loved how the author spiced things up by taking risks in the story. I'm really interested to find out how the problems will be resolved in the books to come.
