The Girl Who Could FlyBy: Victoria Forester
Genres: Adventure, Fantasy, and Magic For Ages: 8-15 Piper McCloud is a home-schooled farm-girl. All she's ever wanted is to find a friend and fit into her small-town community. But that dream is dashed forever when she learns she has a very unique ability - she can fly. She is shunned by her town, and whisked away to I.N.S.A.N.E., a place for things with special talents. There are many others there with their own gifts and powers, however they don't realize that I.N.S.A.N.E. and its principal, Letitia Hellion, are far from the paradise they seem to be... After reading this book, I really feel thrilled. The author found a way to being excitement into every page and pull you into the story. It was a very intriguing novel. I enjoyed the characters and how they interacted with each other. I loved to read about how Piper grew as a person and how others grew to respect her. This book taught the lesson of always being who you are not what others want you to be. I would rate this book: A Must Read 5 Stars: * * * * * |
